Sea Devils place QB Micah Leon on Injured Reserve

The Hamburg Sea Devils suffered a close loss in Week 1 — and now they face another setback. The team has announced that their American quarterback Micah Leon has been placed on Injured Reserve (IR).
Leon played a solid game against the Madrid Bravos, even though he didn’t throw for a touchdown. He showed good control and helped the offense move the ball. Now, due to his injury, he will miss at least three games.

Moritz Maack takes over at QB
With Leon out, homegrown quarterback Moritz Maack will take the lead in Week 2 against the Prague Lions. Maack already stepped in during the final drive of the Bravos game and moved the offense all the way to the Bravos' 25-yard line — showing calm and confidence under pressure.
The Sea Devils showed a strong performance overall in Week 1. Now the question is: Can they get their first win of the season with a homegrown quarterback under center?
All eyes will be on Hamburg this weekend.
